On Saturday night the staff and guests gathered for a formal holiday dinner at the Evergreen Restaurant. The dinner was filled with great food, lots of cheer and gift giving. It was bitter sweet, as Dr. U announced that Mrs. Gutierrez who has been with the company for over eight years would be leaving to work on a project in Mexico with her husband.
Amidst the funfair, Mrs Gutierrez was presented with farewell gifts from the Dr U and Staff, including a collage of photos highlighting memorable moments during her eight years of employment at the company.
The occasion was also marked by an employee award ceremony. Three awards were given including:
- Employee of the year which went to Ms Corona
- Employee consistency award went to Ms De Loyola
- Best new employee award went to Ms Iniquez
Seasonal gifts and felicitations were exchanged between the entire staff and guests as well.
Then the staff gave Dr. U a gift of a juicer. Perhaps clients can soon enjoy one of Dr U’s original juices soon in between surgery sessions 🙂 !
The staff and guests were in for an extra treat, as it snowed as they were leaving the restaurant. It is always nice to experience a white pre-Christmas.
The dogs, Zeus and Athena were unable to attend the dinner event being a “no-pets” restaurant, but they had their share of tumbling in the snow in the log cabin which they kept secure while the rest of the crew was at dinner.On behalf of Dr. U’s office we wish you a Happy Holidays and hope your New Year is filled with good hair days.
