Our procedure is knife-free utilizing microsurgical techniques that harvest each hair unit one at a time. This process is called UGraft advanced follicular unit extraction. Dr. Sanusi Umar invented this unique procedure to transfer of body and beard hair in the treatment of hair restoration. UGraft FUE is a more advanced form of the procedure referred to as “follicular unit extraction” or FUE.

Hair units are transplanted one at a time in a natural fashion. Our technique is minimally invasive, to the extent that the signs of surgery are tiny wounds that typically heal up within a few days. In addition, the treatment requires no knives, strip surgery or stitches, and therefore scarring and downtime are minimized. Best of all, because the procedure allows for the use of body hair, the number of transplantable hair is greatly increased. Following his passion for discovering new and innovative ways to bring minimally invasive methods to health and healing, Dr. Umar completed a 14-month certified fellowship training in Cosmetic Surgery Under the aegis of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery (AACS).
