Surgical Hairline Repair Surgery of Hair Transplant Plugs
Dr. Umar repaired the pluggy appearance of the patient’s hair by:
- extracting the plugs to minimize the pluggy effect
- reducing the ridging on the scalp’s surface
- making room for inserting more natural looking follicular units, inserting them according to natural growth patterns in the hairline. Finer nape hair was used to create softness in the hairline edge.
- After the past strip operations, the patient no longer had sufficient quantities of scalp hair. Therefore, Dr. U extracted beard hair grafts and inserted these into the scar tissue in order to camouflage the linear scarring. This enabled the patient to confidently wear his hair in a short, conservative style.
