Hair Flap Surgery Corrected with Follicular Unit Extraction

The Juri flap surgery is an older method of hair transplantation. It relocates large areas of dense, growing hair, but the result is often a hairline that is too straight and scarred, with abnormal temples and hair angled in the wrong direction, typically facing backwards. Worse, as balding continues, it leaves an obvious gap difficult to conceal.

This patient had undergone the Juri flap procedure several years ago, and was looking for a solution. Using Follicular Unit Extraction, Dr. Umar was able to repair the damage while providing a natural, thick hairline. Learn more in the video below.
