Resigned to his faith, the patient resorted to wearing a hairpiece. He had his first surgery with Dr Umar in September of 2005. He was left still bald, with a strip scar and unfortunately with an odd hair placement. 1800 grafts in the middle of such huge bald area looked very unnatural. FUE – SFET Using Only Nape and Head HairThe patient is with a NW5 area of thinning with a prior history of a small FUE surgery at another facility before presenting to Dr Umar. He wanted only very few grafts for his level of hair loss. He wanted only 1200 grafts used. Dr. Umar transplanted 1200 grafts derived from the nape and head donor to his frontals scalp and hairline with a deliberate purpose of creating a NW3 type thinning top with emphasis placed on looking natural. |

The patient had a previous history of old fashioned pluggy hair transplants. Apart from the pluggy appearance, he needed more coverage and requested the use of body hair for filler effect, as well as the coverage of the crown and refinement of his hairline by softening it. |
