Both procedures were carried out using the SFET method. |

He had the most severe ridging, a hairline packed densely with large plugs, and strip scars. FUE-BHT hair tranplantation using head and body hair He was told by several hair transplant doctors and clinics that he was beyond repair and to wait for hair cloning or hair multiplication. Resigned to his faith, the patient resorted to wearing a hairpiece. He had his first surgery with Dr Umar in September of 2005. FUE – BHT Using Head, Beard and Body Hair The patient who is NW6 destined for NW7 was inappropriately transplanted by another clinic with 1800 grafts using the strip method. He was left still bald, with a strip scar and unfortunately with an odd hair placement. 1800 grafts in the middle of such huge bald area looked very unnatural. The patient does not have the head donor supply to pursue further transplants to take away the acquired odd look. He went to Dr. Umar for repair. |

FUE – BHT by SFET Using Nape and Beard Hair From a previous surgery at another clinic, the patient still have a NW3 pattern loss, several strip scars and a depleted head donor. With his donor limitations he came to Dr. Umar to have non head hair used to restore his loss and camouflage his scars. Dr. Umar used 3,400 grafts from the nape, and beard area only. |

FUE – SFET Using Only Nape and Head HairThe patient is with a NW5 area of thinning with a prior history of a small FUE surgery at another facility before presenting to Dr Umar. He wanted only very few grafts for his level of hair loss. He wanted only 1200 grafts used. Dr. Umar transplanted 1200 grafts derived from the nape and head donor to his frontals scalp and hairline with a deliberate purpose of creating a NW3 type thinning top with emphasis placed on looking natural. |

BHT – SFET Using Only Body Hair
The patient had a previous history of old fashioned pluggy hair transplants. Apart from the pluggy appearance, he needed more coverage and requested the use of body hair for filler effect, as well as the coverage of the crown and refinement of his hairline by softening it. |

FUE – BHT by SFET Using Chest and Beard Hair Patient with NW6 level of hair loss, old punch style surgery that did not grow which eft him still severely bald with multiple punch excision scars in the donor, a ravaged and depleted donor. He resorted to wearing a hairpiece. However, the absence of a temple point and a real hairline makes the hairpiece obvious. |

While his result in the recipient area was fine he wanted the option of keeping his hair short, but was unable to do so without the scar showing. While this gave him a lot of hair, he was left with very pluggy looking hairline that he has had to hide and be self conscious about for years. |
