FUE – SFET using Nape Hair Only

USING SOFT NAPE HAIR FOR THE CREATION OF SOFT NATURAL HAIRLINES

Hairloss level:
NW 2 with V shaped hairline. Patient did not like the “dracular” look

Surgery:
Dr. Umar used 600 follicles derived from the nape area to create a soft natural looking hairline. Nape hair follicular unit extraction ( FUE ) requires a more nuanced approach. Dr. Umar performs this well using the single follicle extraction and transfer ( SFET ) method.

Lessons:
Nape hair is softer when compared to traditional head donor. This makes it ideal for the creation of softer looking (More natural) hairlines, thus avoiding the harsh artificial look that is often the giveaway for hair transplants.
