At DermHair Clinic all effort is geared towards restoring confidence ravaged by the effect of baldness or botched hair restoration surgeries one hair follicle at a time in the least invasive and most natural way possible. Dr. Umar achieves this by utilizing the latest and most microsurgical techniques in hair restoration. These methods continue to be advanced by Dr. Umar.
DermHair Clinic offers only the least invasive type of hair transplantation. Our procedure is completely scalpel-free and utilizes micro surgical techniques to harvest each hair unit one at a time in a process called "Single Follicule Extraction & Transfer (SFET)". SFET is a more advanced form of the procedure largely refered to as "Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE)". These hair units are then transplanted one at a time in the most natural fashion. Our technique is so minimally invasive to the extent that the sign immediately after the surgery is tiny wounds that typically heal up within days.
For an in-office appointment, please call the office during working hours for an available appointment. In office appointments are rather limited; hence effort is made to screen patients by some preliminary questions on the phone. Sometimes a patient information form will be sent to you for completion before an in office appointment is given
With his breakthrough procedure (Umar Procedure), Dr Umar is able to transplant hair from various parts of the body to the balding areas of the head. Transfer of hair from the body to the bald area of the scalp is called "Body Hair to Head Transplantation" or "Body Hair Transplantation (BHT)".
Head Hair Only FUE By SFET - Head and Nape
Single follicle extraction from back and sides of the head to the balding areas. The most common type of hair graft in use today is the "follicular unit." The follicular unit is the most popular because it is superior to all other grafts for its natural appearance and recreation of normal hair growth in "follicular units." Hairs on your scalp naturally grow in 1 to 3 hair groups in a single unit, and these follicular units are left intact when they get implanted in a recipient area. Thus since this type of graft leaves hair in their natural state of 1 to 3 hairs, the transplant will look more natural and undetectable. The follicular unit hair transplant procedure has continued to evolve, becoming more refined and minimally invasive as the size of the graft incisions have become smaller.

Some surgeons are able to use advanced FUE - type techniques to extract hair from the beard and body area to use as donor sources for hair transplantation. This process is popularly known as body hair transplantation ( BHT ). Since body hair differ in quality and cycling, A surgeon experienced in BHT should be consulted if the shortage of head donor supply is an issue.
How much hair is restored depends on the patient's degree of hair loss and their desired result. Some needs are met in one hair transplant procedure while the goals of others may be best achieved over multiple hair transplant surgeries. Furthermore, the patient should be sure to do research before choosing a hair transplant specialist. It is important for a person to have a doctor who is honest and able to cater to the patient's needs, and make him feel as comfortable as possible.
