Follicular Unit Extraction v. Strip Harvesting: The Winner Is Clear

“Strip harvesting” is an outdated approach to hair transplantation. It usually requires cutting strips of flesh from the back and side of the head, resulting in a linear scar that can widen overtime, and forcing you to continually find ways to hide it. In this case Dr. Umar uses his Single Follicle Extraction and Transfer (SFET) method of Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE) procedure to refine and advance a NW3 case using 3500 grafts derived from the head donor area and nape to create a soft natural hairline and restore him from NW 3 to a state of zero appearance of baldness.
