Single Follicle Extraction and Transfer (SFET), or the "Umar Procedure," a more advanced version of the procedure known as Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE). With SFET-FUE, hairs are removed from the back and sides of the head one at a time, leaving very tiny punch wounds that heal to leave no cosmetically significant signs of scarring within a few days of the surgery. The result is that the patient is able to even carry a crew cut as shown below;
Head donor areas: This area is typically with no sign of surgery within a week of surgery.
Typically, Dr Umar's SFET patients can carry a crew cut or a tight and high hair cut as shown in the patient above.
